Roger Eischens Video...TIP: 1" of effort makes 1 incredible training!

This weekend Jessie and I took an Eischens Yoga Seminar (all weekend) from Head Eischens Yoga instructor Kari Tomashik....simply put it was amazing. Why? because she's so adept at seeing the body
and reading it like a book and giving you feedback that enhances each pose to the Nth degree to make
each pose turn from average to amazing. Now i've been doing Eischens Yoga for almost 15 years now and i love that there is so much more to learn and grow from and so much more for my body and especially my mind to grow from as well. THIS is what Kari challenged both Jess and I with....to take our EY practice to a higher level, to challenge ourselves within each pose to open it up 1" more, to pay a little more attention to NOT lifting the ribs. Subtle cues but powerful when done on every pose. Over the weekend she took all people from looking tight and weak to looking opened and strong! It was so amazing, i wish all of you could of been here as Kari is the closest Yogi to Roger i've ever met and the way she reads the body is closest to him as well....she's got a gift:)
Today was the midway intake for our 60 day fitness challengers and man was it great to see all the positive changes in everyone! In just 30 days most have lost about 10lbs of fat and gained about 3-4lbs of muscle...this is way ahead of pace and i am confident the cycle is a huge reason for the bigger positive changes. Not only are we seeing the great fat loss and muscle gain, but huge strength, speed, stamina and power improvements too:) Each person is very very happy, feeling leaner, stronger, skin and eyes look healthier and any injuries they had when they first walked in are getting healed up and stronger too!! PRICELESS:)
MBG 1 restoration - After 8 hours of EY this weekend, did an off the charts awesome EY class tonight with Jessie leading the way....as i added the extra 1" of effort and ROM on each pose and man by the time we got to the end and doing back dome i shot up into probably my best back dome ever!! Man i was stoked, arms 100% and legs 98% straight.....felt amazing and after class i was energized and feeling better than i've felt in weeks!! NOTE: I challenge you too to open up each pose 1", focus on keeping resisting the low back from collapse, keep extending thru the crown...do it all. Do this on each and every pose and go for it on each one to open it bigger than every before WHILE staying engaged and i promise it will take your EY practice to another level!
MBG 2 training - last two days just been busy as heck so simply had fun training throughout the day practicing all types of stuff and throwing a little J Rock into the mix too yesterday...that was fun:) Although my numbers were down from over a year ago when i was crushing J Rock in madison. I'll get them back up there and be crushing it again soon!   1. Awesome clip, great to finally see Roger teaching his craft.

    Adding the 1" mindset to each cue on each pose is absolutely the best addition to my sequence personally since actually learning EY at the CNT course. I did the warrior sequence this morning and having this in the back of my mind on each cue made the world of difference. I will be adding this into my teaching cues for my clients 100%.

    Any hints on what the new gym has in store for us..... geeked out bar systems, 40 yard dash track, rock wall????

  2. yeah it's cool to see roger teaching...super simple huh:) he was awesome!
    yeah keep that 1" extra effort, go wider on all poses....it'll crush you:) haha
    new gym will have a bigger and much cooler bar system in it for sure. 20 yard floor in both directions....BUT we also are right next to a huge grass football field!! it's gonna be very cool!
